Oakwood High School Lumberjack Theatre proudly presents Disney's High School Musical On Stage! For the first time ever, Oakwood students are making a movie musical and turning the school into a movie set! Featuring more than 60 students from OJH and OHS drama club, cast and crew are thrilled to share the production with the community.
It's the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks (feat. Joey Schairbaum, Ty Webb), Brainiacs (feat. Zoe Waller, Lauren Jacomet, Dana Clark), Thespians (feat. Emerson Davis, Aaron Guggenheimer, Amelia Merithew) and Skater Dudes (feat. Rupert Clark, Toni Moore) find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to the new year.
Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, (played by Andy Danis) discovers the brainy Gabriella, (played by Jillian Myers), a girl he met singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. The duo causes an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical being led by Ms. Darbus (played by Grace Spitzmiller). Although many students resent the threat posed to the "status quo," Troy and Gabriella's alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.
