Flourish Campaign

Flourish logo
The Oakwood Schools Foundation is embarking on the largest fundraising effort in the group's 40-year history to support the arts facilities at Oakwood Junior High and Oakwood High School.
OSF is leading the campaign to raise $8.8 million in private funding for new and enhanced, state-of-the-art facilities.
The Oakwood Schools Foundation’s FLOURISH Campaign project includes the following exciting enhancements:

  • A new Performing Arts Wing addition with band, choir and orchestra spaces in close proximity to Mack Hummon Stadium,
  • A brand-new Visual Arts Center with an open art gallery to exhibit and celebrate student and alumni art as well as dedicated arts classrooms,
  • Increased storage for instruments and theater equipment, and
  • A fund for non-structural upgrades to the auditorium with new audio, visual and theater improvements.

The new spaces will fill an existing need and have flexible components so spaces can also be used for a variety of purposes, including rehearsal, recital, black box theater performances and community receptions. Practice and small group rooms are also part of the design. To learn more about the project visit
