Preparing for the New School Year

Video tutorials for creating and managing your account via a laptop or a phone are available at Email Mailing List."

2.  Subscribing to School Calendars
Did you know you can subscribe to all of the Oakwood Schools calendars and link events to your personal calendar?

Video tutorials for subscribing to the calendars are on all of the calendar pages on the District website, including the District Calendar page.

3.  Getting Your School Supplies
Looking to take advantage of the this year’s Ohio Tax Free Weekend (Friday, Aug. 5 - Sunday, Aug. 7)? Supply lists for Harman, Smith and OJH are ready for you on the School Supply List page.  No supplies are needed for Lange and OHS students will receive information directly from teachers.

4.  What's for lunch?
Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.  This year, Oakwood Schools will be serving hot lunches five days a week.  You can see elementary menus, with a full nutrition breakdown, on our new food and nutrition website.  At OJH & OHS, food from area restaurants will return Aug. 22.  Look for more details soon!

5.  See something, say something
Oakwood Schools partners with state agencies to provide an anonymous tip line that could prevent a school safety crisis. Trained professionals answer calls and texts to 844-SaferOH (844-723-3764) 24 hours a day. If you see something or have concerns, say something. Don't wait.

6.  The locker challenge
If opening a locker will be new to you this year, OJH Principal Tim Badenhop has a how-to video to make it a breeze.
