Dear Oakwood Families,

I am incredibly pleased to share the unofficial passage of the combined 5.75 mill operating levy and 1 mill permanent improvement levy for our district. This marks a significant milestone for Oakwood City Schools.

Here's what this means:

1. Operating Levy: An additional $2.1 million per year will help us maintain the essentials—staffing, instructional materials, and enriching student programs.
2. Permanent Improvement Levy: The $373,000 that will be generated annually will go toward upgrading our facilities, enhancing technology, and strengthening security.

 These funds will help us further our mission to provide the resources, support, expertise, and experiences needed for all Oakwood students to achieve. Together, we will create an educational experience that prepares our students to be resilient, reflective learners who contribute positively to society.
