Oakwood Schools Foundation is announcing one of the largest legacy gifts in the organization’s 40-year history, a $1.3 million gift from the estate of Ruth Herman.

“Oakwood Schools Foundation is profoundly grateful for Ruth’s generous gift that she entrusted to the care of the Foundation. Her loving legacy will be remembered forever in Oakwood Schools,” Chris Conard, Chair of the Oakwood Schools Foundation Board of Trustees, said.

Herman left her gift “undesignated,” giving OSF the ability to be flexible and responsive to the emerging needs of the Oakwood Schools’ faculty and students today and into the future.
