The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority.  In coordination with the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we are sharing information from the CDC to make you aware of the current situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus).  

While we hope it will not be needed, Oakwood Schools does have procedures in place as part of the District’s emergency operating plan and general safety plan to handle situations regarding the spread of illness.  The District will also follow recommendations from the Ohio Department of Health and Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County.

The Ohio Department of Health has created a website with the most up-to-date information regarding prevention, symptoms, testing and investigations in the state.  We urge you to visit Coronavirus.Ohio.Gov for the latest state-wide information.   

The CDC continues to update its website as well with national information.
