Four members of the 202-2021 Oakwood High School Speech and Debate team faced some of the best competition in the country recently, participating in the 2021 National Speech and Debate Association National Tournament.

OHS had an impressive four national qualifiers:  Sam Stack (Humorous Interpretation, Isabel Rubin-Alvarez (Dramatic Interpretation), Noah Smith (Lincoln Douglas Debate) and Lily Meehan (World Schools Debate).

Meehan, as a part of the Western Ohio World Schools Team, reached double octofinals and placed in the top 32.
