Oakwood High School speech and debate team is celebrating a second-place finish at Princeton's Barton Classic Saturday, Nov. 11.

Top finishers for OHS were Julia Ludwig, placing first in Lincoln Douglas, Marcela Strombeck first in Congress Chamber B, and Lily Green and Kat Shannon first in Duo Interpretation.

Maze Kudera placed second in Dramatic Interpretation, and the team of Ava Coomer and Bagar Nasehi placed second in Duo Interpretation. 

In Humorous Interpretation, Henry Almoney finished in third place. Eva Meehan and Oliver Roederer placed third in Public Forum. Ruth Glaser placed third in Dramatic Interpretation.

Also placing well for OHS were:
