After conducting an investigation with the support of Public Health Dayton & Montgomery County and following CDC guidelines, students and staff determined to have “close contact” and/or “general exposure,” to the individuals who tested positive have been notified directly. Health recommendations from the CDC regarding “close contact” and “general exposure” were included in the notification.
Once completing the required quarantine period, being fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication, and seeing an improvement in symptoms, the individuals who tested positive will be cleared to return to school. Individuals determined to have “close contact” with the individuals who tested positive and show no symptoms of COVID-19 will be cleared to return to school following the required quarantine period.
