Oakwood Schools was notified Wednesday, Jan. 13 two students and one staff member have tested positive for COVID-19.  One student attends OJH, one attends OHS and the staff member is at Smith.  To protect the confidentiality of the individuals, we will not be sharing additional information regarding the individuals.  

Due to the current off-site instruction mode in Oakwood Schools, none of the students nor the staff member had face-to-face contact with other students or staff members at school.  No quarantine or exposure notifications were issued.  

Once completing the required quarantine period, being fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication, and seeing an improvement in symptoms, the individuals who tested positive will be cleared to return to school.
