Six Oakwood Junior High students placed in the Power of the Pen Regional tournament held Jan. 25 at West Carrollton Middle School. OJH was one of 15 participating schools with approximately 90 writers per grade level.
The seventh grade team placed first overall with Claire Cezeaux finishing third and Diane Rosenberg placing fourth and getting Best of Round. Individual winners for the eighth grade team include: Sage Spirk third place, Charlotte Delong sixth place and Best of Round, Abby Poprocki seventh place, and Sasha Guseva eleventh place.
